This page explains what personal data is (and is not) processed when you use our website and contact form. In short: no newsletter signups, no user accounts, and we do not persist contact form data on the server. Anonymous analytics may be added in future; if any tool requires consent, we will ask first.
We align with Swiss data protection law (DSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. Typical legal bases: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Supervisory authority (CH): Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). EU residents may contact their local data protection authority.
We do not use non‑essential cookies. Our hosting provider may process minimal technical logs (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested URL) for security and operations. We do not link such data to individuals.
Fields: name, email, message. Purpose: respond to your request. Legal basis: contract/pre‑contractual (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Processing: your message is transmitted via email to us and is not stored on our web server.
Anti‑spam/bot protection (e.g., invisible honeypot, optional challenge) may be used.
We currently do not run analytics or ads trackers. We reserve the right to add anonymous analytics or aggregated ads measurement (e.g., Google Ads, TikTok, Meta) to improve our marketing. If a tool requires cookies or personal data, we will show a consent banner and provide opt‑out options.
We do not maintain a database of contact submissions. Emails received through the form are retained in our mailbox according to our ordinary business retention periods and then deleted.
Service providers (hosting, email) may process data strictly on our instructions. If future analytics/ads tools involve transfers outside Switzerland/EU/EEA, we will ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) and inform you.
To exercise your rights, contact us at anfrage@mailbot.ch. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
We may update this page to reflect legal, technical or business changes. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
